Day 3

Today we met at 7:45 in front of Breck, so we had to get up fairly early. Fortunately, we were all excited for the competition and arrived at the Williams arena completely thrilled. After the arena opened, we went directly to our pit where a lot of work needed to be done. We had to put the bumpers on, try the vision sensors for autonomous functions of our robot. We had lunch before our first practice match: pre-ordered lunches consisting of various meals such as pizza or sandwiches.

Our first practice match revealed the biggest issues of our robot. Functions that worked in Prague suddenly did not function properly. Our team of mechanics and programmers bravely jumped into fixing these problems but until they were fixed we drove and manipulated everything manually. After the end of the competition day we returned home and due to exhaustion fell asleep.
